michael h. profession: director (2013), yves montmayeur

just saw this at kino centrum and it reminded me how i walked out of le temps du loup screening a couple of years ago because the quality was so sloppy you barely  could see anything. and then how my legs kept shaking after der siebente kontinent and how i just sat there in my seat and in the dark, overwhelmed and angry for no particular reason (there were plenty of reasons, plenty) and how he’s simultaneously amusing (absurd?) and terrifying and how i’ve never really fallen in love with him but there’s this feeling of admiration towards his self-absorbed persona and does anybody know if he’s ever explained why he did that funny games remake? (oh, also, i haven’t got around watching his two latest movies yet. i know, i know)
